About the role
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to help us elevate how Baselayer looks and feels across all our touchpoints. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role where you will:
- Master and apply Baselayer’s visual brand and design system
- Design across various mediums including web pages, static graphics, infographics, marketing campaigns, social content, sales decks, one-pagers, and event and investor materials
- Translate complex, technical concepts into clear, compelling visuals and data storytelling
- Partner with marketing and leadership to bring launches, campaigns, and narratives to life
- Establish and evolve templates and reusable assets to help the team move faster
- Raise the creative bar across the company, providing feedback and setting standards for design quality
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines, shipping high-quality work at startup speed
- Work with internal stakeholders to transform requests and needs into the envisioned and scoped deliverables
Minimum requirements
- 2+ years of graphic or brand design experience with a polished portfolio
- Expert command of design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Flora)
- Motion, illustration, and/or short-form video skills
- Strong foundation in typography, layout, color, and brand systems
- Experience designing across digital and print (web, social, presentations, marketing collateral)
- Ability to take projects from concept to finished asset independently
- Experience leveraging AI to automate workflows or expand design capabilities
