About the role
CRASH Productions is a fast-paced and forward-thinking in-house media team for Witherite Law Group. We leverage the latest technology to support our attorneys and their clients. Our specialization includes creating compelling courtroom visuals such as graphics, 3D reconstructions of vehicle wrecks, and detailed surgical animations to support litigation and mediation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D reconstructions of car wrecks and medical procedures using software like Blender, Virtual Crash 6, or similar.
- Interpret police reports, medical records, diagrams, depositions, witness statements, and expert notes to accurately visualize events.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and experts to ensure accuracy and clarity in animations.
- Use Adobe Creative Cloud to enhance visual outputs when needed.
- Organize and compile information from multiple sources to form a clear, logical narrative.
- Incorporate feedback quickly and refine animations in a timely and professional manner.
- Work independently while communicating progress and challenges proactively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Blender or comparable 3D animation software.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (especially After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to draw logical conclusions from limited or complex data.
- Acute attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Able to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Open to constructive critique and motivated to refine work based on attorney and client feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background or coursework in animation, visual effects, medical illustration, or forensic visualization.
- Experience with simulation software or physics engines.
- Experience with Unity.
- Familiarity with both iOS and Windows environments.
- Knowledge of anatomy or biomechanics (though not required).
