About the role
Taking graphics from Graphic Designers and executing them for Production. Creating tech pack schematics and making good design decisions.
Responsibilities
- Create tech pack schematics
- Make good design decisions
- Understand design thinking but not a conceptual design role
- Work on the technical graphic design side
- Build schematics
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in graphic production design, such as packaging, print design, footwear, technical graphic design, book design, typography
- Graphic Design Degree or similar education
- Portfolio showing technical design work for print, book, or product design
- Must have skills in Adobe Illustrator, pre-press color separations, maintaining files for product design
- Strong footwear interest, but not required to have previous experience
Qualifications
- Knowledge of pre-press, screen printing, trims, printing process
- Strong portfolio demonstrating process work for print, book, or product design
- Not interested in very illustration or branding heavy portfolios
- Not interested in portfolios focusing on concept work
