About the role

Taking graphics from Graphic Designers and executing them for Production. Creating tech pack schematics and making good design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Create tech pack schematics
• Make good design decisions
• Understand design thinking but not a conceptual design role
• Work on the technical graphic design side
• Build schematics

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in graphic production design, such as packaging, print design, footwear, technical graphic design, book design, typography
• Graphic Design Degree or similar education
• Portfolio showing technical design work for print, book, or product design
• Must have skills in Adobe Illustrator, pre-press color separations, maintaining files for product design
• Strong footwear interest, but not required to have previous experience

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pre-press, screen printing, trims, printing process
• Strong portfolio demonstrating process work for print, book, or product design
• Not interested in very illustration or branding heavy portfolios
• Not interested in portfolios focusing on concept work

Pay

$30-33.00 per hour, with overtime available at 40%
