Graphic Design Internship

About the role

Retrofête is a womenswear collection marked by its bold character, intricate detail, and sparkling embellishments. The New York-based label channels disco-era after-hours through tastefully provocative, day-and-night silhouettes. We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our NYC-based web team. As a Graphic Design Intern, you will work with the in-house creative team to help build marketing assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for marketing materials, including landing pages, email design, social stories, look books, and flyers
• General admin duties
• Maintain consistent brand identity across all channels
• Contribute to competitor research and design inspiration
• Assist with photo-related duties: photo cropping, minor retouching, and formatting

Requirements

• A passion for the fashion industry
• Must be a full or part-time student working toward a degree
• Must be eligible to receive school credit and commit to 2-3 days a week for at least 3 months
• Experience with photo art direction, email design, and retail fashion advertising is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills, highly motivated, self-reliant with a "can do" attitude
• Demonstration of strong design style
• Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Knowledge of Sketch and Capture One is a plus

Pay

This is an unpaid internship; we provide a daily stipend for interns.
