Graphic Design Intern

About the role
This full-time, on-site Graphic Design Internship supports the design team in creating and refining visual assets for cards, packaging, and gift products. The role ensures consistent branding and a high standard of visual quality while offering hands-on experience with licensed New Yorker designs and exposure to the full design lifecycle from concept to finished product.
This is an 8-month paid internship based in Moorestown, NJ, ideal for a college student or recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience designing trend-driven paper goods alongside an experienced creative team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing calendars, stationery, greeting cards, gift items, and related products using primarily Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop
- Edit and prepare artwork in Photoshop, including image and color adjustments for high-quality print production
- Collaborate with the design team to develop seasonal collections and product lines
- Help create and schedule social media graphics and marketing assets
- Prepare production-ready files with accuracy and attention to detail
- Receive and apply creative feedback throughout the design process
- Develop layouts, assist with logo and branding concepts, and perform image editing and retouching
- Maintain organized design files and participate in brainstorming sessions for new product ideas
- Adapt designs for various formats in collaboration with marketing and product teams
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop
- A strong eye for typography, layout, color, and composition
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn from feedback
- Enthusiasm for design, illustration, paper goods, and current design trends
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Schedule
5 days per week, approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (on-site in Moorestown, NJ).
