GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN A New Policy is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to support the Marketing team, reporting directly to the Marketing Director. This role is ideal for a student or emerging designer passionate about human rights, social impact, and design-driven storytelling. You will create visual materials that enhance A New Policy’s brand, strengthen our digital presence, and elevate our marketing campaigns. This is a highly visible internship with the opportunity to lead high-impact creative initiatives. Please note that this is an unpaid internship; applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit. Location: Remote/Hybrid in DC Position Type: Unpaid Summer Internship Duration: 25 hours per week for 10-12 weeks, (June–August) Assist in maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity across platformsCollaborate with internal teams to align social content with broader campaigns and initiativesMonitor performance and help track engagement using social media analytics toolsCreate and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn as neededSupport posting of rapid response Instagram content once finalized by the rapid response team as neededPursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related fieldProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, but comfortable with creating templates in CanvaStrong layout, typography, and visual storytelling skillsAbility to turn policy-related or data-driven content into accessible, compelling visualsDetail-oriented, creative, and able to work collaboratively within a marketing environmentPrior experience with digital or social media design is a plusCandidates with insight into regional issues in the Middle East, including the Israel–Palestine are, especially encouraged to applyHands-on design experience within a mission-driven nonprofit marketing teamMentorship from the Marketing Director, including feedback and professional guidanceA portfolio of real-world design work created for campaigns and public-facing materialsInsight into nonprofit marketing, brand strategy, and content developmentA meaningful opportunity to support human rights–centered advocacy through creative design APPLY NOW GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN A New Policy is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to support the Marketing team, reporting directly to the Marketing Director.
