About the role
Every support group, counselling session, research project, and advocacy initiative at TMM relies on sustainable funding. Grants from charitable trusts, foundations, and funding bodies are essential to growing our services and reaching more motherless mothers. As Grants & Trusts Manager, you'll lead TMM's grant funding strategy, identifying opportunities, developing compelling applications, and building relationships with funders who share our vision. Your work will directly enable TMM to expand its impact and create lasting change.
Responsibilities
- Lead TMM's grants and trusts fundraising strategy
- Research and identify suitable grant and funding opportunities
- Develop and submit high-quality funding applications
- Work with colleagues to gather evidence, budgets, and impact data for applications
- Build and maintain relationships with trusts, foundations, and grant-makers
- Monitor application deadlines, reporting requirements, and funding pipelines
- Help develop funding proposals for new projects and services
- Work collaboratively with the wider Senior Leadership Team to align funding priorities with TMM's strategic goals
Requirements
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
- Strong research and organisational abilities
- Experience in grant writing, fundraising, bid writing, or a willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Confidence working collaboratively across different teams
- Passion for TMM's mission and the impact sustainable funding can create
