About the Opportunity:The Grants Associate role is responsible for coordinating grant administration activities and managing data related to the organization''s grantmaking processes. Reporting to the Grants and Operations Partner, this position supports all stages of the grantmaking cycle, works with internal teams and external partners, and contributes to ensuring equitable and effective philanthropic funding. 3. Responsibilities:• Support administration of grants throughout the grant lifecycle• Track funding initiatives and grants in the pipeline• Manage funding application and review processes using a Salesforce-based system• Handle award and payment processes with recipients• Provide support and guidance to funding seekers, grantees, and staff• Maintain accurate grant records and documentation• Recommend improvements to tools and resources for grant administration• Assist in creating, implementing, and improving funding administration policies aligned with equitable practices• Document fund administration processes and communicate policies clearly• Research emerging equitable philanthropic funding approaches and make recommendations• Develop and manage surveys to collect demographic and impact data from grantees and applicants• Collect and maintain up-to-date funding recipient data using various systems• Analyze data to inform funding decisions focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion• Contribute to reporting for internal and external stakeholders• Support grantmaking team with grantee portfolio management, including tracking deliverables and reviewing applications• Provide project management support for special projects• Assist with meeting preparation, coordination, and follow-up 4. Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in administrative coordination• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• Proficiency in data management and analytical thinking• Comfort with technology and ability to learn new systems quickly• Openness to learning and adopting new grantmaking approaches• Strong project management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines• Customer-service orientation in supporting applicants, grantees, and colleagues• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Desired:• Experience in philanthropy, grants management, immigration, refugee resettlement, or social sectors• Experience with Salesforce as a CRM or grants management tool 5.
