Qualifications
- Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. Over four years and up to and including eight years of grant management or related experience.
- Experience: At least four years of experience in grant management, grant administration, compliance monitoring, financial management, or a closely related field.
- Grant Management/Grant Administration Experience: Experience preparing, reviewing, or assisting with grant applications and award documents; experience tracking grant budgets, reimbursements, expenditures, or related financial records; experience working with federal, state, local, or other grant-funded programs.
Skills
- Ability to research grant fund availability for County projects.
- Ability to prepare and present grant applications to County departments and Council.
- Ability to coordinate the execution of grant awards and perform routine administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of grant reporting requirements and ability to comply with them.
- Ability to develop and implement procedures to enhance the grants management process.
