Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with TLCF’s mission
- Write, edit, and submit grant proposals and letters of inquiry
- Collaborate with leadership and program staff to gather program data and outcomes
- Affiliate with the Finance Officer to develop grant budgets
- Manage submission deadlines and reporting requirements
- Maintain records of grant activity and funder communications
Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Interest in nonprofit fundraising and community impact
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in grant writing or nonprofit work preferred, but not required
Commitment Details
- Position Type: Volunteer
- Time Commitment: 5–10 hours per week (flexible)
- Duration: Minimum 6-month commitment preferred
- Schedule: Flexible, with occasional meetings as needed
- Location: Remote / Hybrid (as applicable)
- Expectations: Reliable participation, timely submissions, and consistent communication
