Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with TLCF’s mission
  • Write, edit, and submit grant proposals and letters of inquiry
  • Collaborate with leadership and program staff to gather program data and outcomes
  • Affiliate with the Finance Officer to develop grant budgets
  • Manage submission deadlines and reporting requirements
  • Maintain records of grant activity and funder communications

Qualifications

  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Interest in nonprofit fundraising and community impact
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in grant writing or nonprofit work preferred, but not required

Commitment Details

  • Position Type: Volunteer
  • Time Commitment: 5–10 hours per week (flexible)
  • Duration: Minimum 6-month commitment preferred
  • Schedule: Flexible, with occasional meetings as needed
  • Location: Remote / Hybrid (as applicable)
  • Expectations: Reliable participation, timely submissions, and consistent communication
