Healthful Stories is a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit conducting in-depth interviews with people living with chronic and complex health conditions. Grants are a core part of sustaining and expanding this work.
Responsibilities
- Identify funding opportunities
- Develop compelling proposals
- Sustain and expand Healthful Stories' work through grants
- Support relationships with foundations committed to the patient voice
Requirements
- Prior grant writing experience in a nonprofit or public health setting
- Strong persuasive writing skills and the ability to translate mission into fundable narratives
- Attention to detail and reliability with deadlines
- Familiarity with health-focused or patient advocacy funders is a plus
