Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities that align with YMCA programs, strategic goals, and community needs.
- Prepare persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, applications, and supporting documentation.
- Manage grant submission timelines and ensure compliance with all application requirements.
- Collaborate with program leaders to gather data, outcomes, success stories, and budget information.
- Track grant awards, reporting deadlines, and stewardship requirements.
- Assist with grant reporting and funder communications.
- Support the development of funding strategies that strengthen organizational sustainability.
Requirements
- Experience in grant writing, fundraising, nonprofit development, communications, or related fields.
- Demonstrated success securing grant funding preferred.
- Strong written, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to translate program outcomes into compelling narratives.
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations, community-based programs, or human service agencies preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor or grant management systems.
