Grant Analyst

About the role

Large NYC Non-Profit located in Long Island City, NY. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity for a Grant Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of projects, agreements, and funding arrangements.
• Prepares proposals, budgets, budget modifications, and financial analyses.
• Reviews funding activities on a monthly basis to ensure the accuracy of financial data and reporting requirements.
• Manages the allocation of personnel and operating expenses across projects and funding sources.
• Performs periodic budget variance analyses and provides financial insights to management.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitors and facilitates the collection of funds and reimbursement requests as required.
• Reviews and reconciles general ledger accounts, including accounts receivable, outstanding claims, and payments received.
• Ensures the timely submission of reports to leadership.
• Coordinates with internal and external auditors during audits and compliance reviews.
• Provides timely follow-up on requests for information from internal and external stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay

$32/hour, $70k/year when converted

Schedule

5 days/week in office, shifts to 4 when converted
