Job Summary

Provide stellar customer service to internal and external customers including participation in and promotion of customer service programs to continuously improve customer service. Act as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the waitstaff to ensure a steady workflow from front-of-house to back-of-house.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate kitchen orders
• Maintain quality control and monitor food safety
• Organize ticket orders to prioritize outgoing meals
• Knowledge of the KDS system
• Facilitate a steady flow of information between different areas of the restaurant
• May assist wait staff in delivering plates to customers
• Supports safety and accident prevention programs (nonslip footwear, knife handling, and proper lifting)
• Follow appropriate food handling procedures to ensure safe, quality products
• Complete sales to customers including taking money, counting back the appropriate amount of change, correctly processing and validating comps, and operating cash register or point of sale system
• Complete deposits at the end of each shift
• Perform tasks to ensure an attractive and safe physical appearance of working areas including cleaning and sanitizing counters, display cases, refrigeration units, and beverage machines
• Ensure supplies are stocked as needed
• Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed
• Compile information, complete and submit reports as needed
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations
• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter
• Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements
• Perform all reasonably requested job duties needed to promote productivity in the efficient administration of business, or any reasonable request made by your supervisor or management personnel
