Grain Production Worker - Seasonal

About the role

This seasonal position is within our Ag & Trading enterprise, focused on facility operations, grain handling, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility operations such as loading/unloading trucks, vessels, barges, and rail cars
• Fill and reclaim grain ground piles and handle various grain tasks
• Perform basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members
• Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to perform physical job duties including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.) with the use of Personal Prote Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

Skills

• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice (preferred)

Pay

$20.00/hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
