Grain Operator
About the Role
Operate conveyance equipment to move grain to and from storage. Set up, control, adjust, and feed grain into semi-automated machines and equipment. Load and unload trucks, shipping containers, and rail cars with grain. Operate additional equipment and use hand tools to maintain housekeeping standards and assist with minor repairs. Operate scales and enter data using computer systems.
This position is for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 12:00 AM).
Responsibilities
- Operate conveyance equipment to move grain to and from storage.
- Load grain for outbound shipment.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and assist with minor repairs.
- Operate grain drying equipment.
- Receive and follow instructions for work assignments.
- Operate scales and enter data into computer systems.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb up to 150 feet.
