Grain Elevator Operator - Watertown

About the role

Agwrx Cooperative Elevator is seeking a self-motivated individual for an Grain Elevator Operator to join the Agwrx team in Watertown, SD. This position will focus on loading, unloading, cleaning up around the scale, running the scale and grading grain during harvest.

Responsibilities

• Loading grain and unloading grain trucks
• Cleaning up and maintaining the facility around the scale
• Operator the grain scale and grain probe
• Grading grain samples
• Perform duties safely within company policies, guidelines and in accordance with governmental regulations
• Able to work in a high paced work environment during harvest
• Candidate must be willing to engage with customers and be able to work well in a team environment
• Potential additional duties working for our Agronomy department
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to commute to Watertown, SD 57201

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating grain scales and probes
• Knowledge of grain grading practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
