Graduate Teacher Assistant (Children’s Institute)

About the role

The Staff Graduate Assistant will provide support in various areas including communication, technology, business operations, or student affairs under the guidance of one or more staff or faculty members.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist in the support of the affairs of a program, department, office, and/or curriculum.
• Perform other departmental-related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work up to 20 hours per week (10 for 50%) is required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Admission and enrollment in a graduate program is required.
• Maintenance of a 67% course completion is required.
• Enrollment in at least 6 credits for Fall and Winter semesters is required.

• Special Instructions: Graduate Assistant, Children’s Institute, Teacher Assistant
• Absorb, develop, plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate classroom activities for a specific age group of young children.
• Absorb, train, and evaluate student staff.
