Responsibilities
- Co-design high efficiency mm-Wave Power Amplifiers
- Document and present design process effectively
- EM-simulate passive RF structures in HFSSE
- Evaluate and characterize power amplifier prototypes
- Assist in the development of automated test lab equipment for lab measurements
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Ph.D. or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must be available to work an average of 40 hours per week for the Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 Term
- A minimum GPA of 3.0
- On-site required - Atlanta, GA
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Hands-on experience designing mmWave power amplifiers or other RF front-end circuits
- Graduate-level education focused on RF/microwave integrated circuit design (CMOS, GaAs, or GaN)
- Proficiency with industry-standard RF simulation tools (e.g., Keysight ADS, GoldenGate, Momentum, SpectreRF, HFSS)
- Strong understanding of linear and non-linear circuit analysis for RFIC/MMIC blocks, including power amplifiers
- Familiarity with RF transceiver architectures and modern communication standards
- Experience designing or characterizing circuits in frequency bands including GSM, Ku-, K-, and Ka-band
- Skilled in RF measurements using equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and signal generators
- Strong communication skills and ability to present data clearly
- Team player with curiosity and motivation to learn
