Graduate Quantitative Researcher (2027 Incoming Graduate, Full-Time)

3Red Partners, a proprietary trading firm headquartered in Chicago, is seeking a Graduate Quantitative Researcher (2027 Incoming Graduate) to join the team. The role focuses on expanding and optimizing current and future trading opportunities at our Chicago headquarters. We are seeking a candidate looking to make a real impact, deliver value, and work within an experienced team.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to optimize the current strategy components and identify new trading opportunities
• Research and test alphas to improve existing tools and identify methods to increase trading efficiency
• Focus on enhancing the production trading system and rewriting existing trades and signals

Requirements

• A student completing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree with an emphasis in a STEM-related field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.), graduating in 2027 by August 2027
• 1+ industry internships as a Quantitative Researcher, Developer, or Trader
• Experience with Python, C++, and machine learning tools
• Strong multi-tasking skills, including the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at one time

Pay

The expected base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $200,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and skills.
