Graduate Practical Nurse (LPN) Inpatient

Duties

• Completes daily reassessments for assigned patients and documents findings.
• Reinforces patient teaching and family education.
• Administers medications and monitors patients’ responses to medications including intravenous fluids and medications.
• Collaborates effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Contributes to the professional development of peers, colleagues, and others (students, orientees).
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable.
• Recent graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing, or military equivalent is required.
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location within 90 days is required.
• IV Certification upon hire is required.
• Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days is required.
• A valid And In State driver's license is required if operating a motor vehicle for business purposes.
