Graduate Nurse Resident (Non-Exempt) → Nurse Resident (Non-Exempt)

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers
• Coordinate patient care with various departments
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality
• Perform duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards
• Provide patient-centered care during night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Maintain professional accountability and ensure confidentiality
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 1 year RN experience preferred; new graduates eligible
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program (ASN, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in the appropriate state
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
