About the role
Join a structured, evidence-based transition-to-practice Nurse residency program designed for newly licensed nurses seeking to develop confidence and independence in their clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in comprehensive, individualized department orientations and hands-on clinical training.
- Engage in ongoing mentorship and collaboration with experienced preceptors.
- Attend targeted educational sessions to enhance critical thinking, clinical judgment, and professional growth.
- Provide patient care across various departments such as Cardiac, Critical Care, Emergency, Labor & Delivery, Medical Surgical, NICU, Oncology, and others.
Qualifications
- Less than 12 months of nursing experience.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of a temporary or compact Arkansas nursing license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
