Graduate Floor Trader

About the role

We are looking for a recent graduate to join IMC as a Graduate Floor Trader. IMC is a high frequency trading firm with a strong trading presence in the broker market on the trading floor.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team of broker and screen traders to optimize trading
• Interact with brokers throughout the day, making markets and providing liquidity
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers
• Perform trades analysis to improve trading
• Develop, maintain, and enhance trading models, algorithms, systems, and positional risk
• Research new market opportunities

Requirements

Recent university graduate or current university student graduating between May 2025 and July 2026 with a degree in finance, economics, mathematics or related field of study

Superior numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Genuine interest in financial markets, though no prior knowledge or experience required

Experience with programming in Python is an advantage

A team player – at IMC we’re all in together

Eagerness to continuously learn

Open to travel within the US to support IMC across multiple exchanges

Qualifications

Must be available to start full-time employment in August 2026

The Base Salary range for the role is $200,000 USD
