Graduate Engineer I, Water / Wastewater

Water/Wastewater Graduate Civil Engineer Halff Is looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer for our Water & Wastewater Utilities team in our The Woodlands, TX office. The position will be for a General Civil Engineer interested in Water & Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process design and construction. What You Will Do Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional EngineerSupport Water & Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process, design, and constructionAssist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water & Wastewater projectsPerform drafting CAD workPerform calculations and analysis for design projectsAssist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documentsCoordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractorsAttend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies What You Will Need Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply)0 – 3 years of experience in Water & Wastewater Utility projects and Water and/or Wastewater Treatment DesignExperience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is preferredDesired experience with Civil 3D, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWaterGreat communication skillsSolid relationship and team building skillsSelf-motivated and strong organization skills The Halff Water/Wastewater Advantage We leverage more than 65 years of experience in the water utilities industry to develop creative and sound solutions.Interdisciplinary team can provide full services from land development to treatment facility design.Full toolbox of technology resources.
