Graduate Engineer I, Transportation
What You Will Do
- Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
- Perform schematic design work
- Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
- Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
- Cook up with other team members, including surveyors and contractors
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Driving Record
- The ability to obtain an EIT Certificate within one (1) year
- Great communication skills
- Solid relationship and team building skills
- Self-motivated and strong organization skills
- 0 to 3 years of experience in Transportation Design for roadway & highway design projects
- Experience in MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer
- Knowledge of applicable roadway and drainage modules
