About the role

Provides direct patient care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional. Assists with patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs and health history collection.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by a healthcare provider.
  • Support healthcare providers during procedures and treatments.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during care delivery.
  • Document patient interactions and care activities accurately.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer literacy.

Skills

  • Proficient in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Experience with medical equipment and supplies.
