Graduate/ Clinical Nurse- Acute Care Rotational Program - October 12, 2026
Department: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Units, including complex medicine, joint replacement, orthopedics, observation, neuroscience, oncology, primary care, specialty surgery, nursing rehab units, acute care for the elderly (ACE), cardiac telemetry, cardiovascular telemetry, vascular, trauma, short stay, and dialysis units. These units emphasize the art and science of nursing and offer a high level of interaction with patients and families.
About the role
Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, you will deliver nursing care to patients. Responsibilities include planning and implementing nursing care, documenting nursing assessments, identifying and reporting situations requiring further intervention, formulating and communicating a goal-directed plan of care, and ensuring patient rights. You will perform job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital and principles of quality improvement.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
- Participants are required to sign a 2-year commitment
Program Details
This 1-year program rotates through a variety of Med/Surg/Tele Units, providing newly graduated RNs with a strong first year of nursing experience. Rotational shifts will vary. Start date for this program is October 12, 2026.

Minimum salary: $33.32 per hour
