Graduate Assistant: Women Soccer Graduate Assistant Coach

About the role

North Park University, a Christian university affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church, seeks a Women's Soccer Graduate Assistant Coach starting in August 2026. The position includes tuition remission, a partial meal plan, and a $3,000 stipend per semester.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists the head coach with the daily operations of the women's soccer program
• Analyzes performance and instructs athletes in soccer techniques and strategies
• Assists with all phases of competitive NCAA and CCIW compliant recruiting
• Executes practice and game planning/evaluation, including video exchange and breakdown
• Ensures a commitment to the academic success of soccer student-athletes
• Buils and sustains positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and the campus community
• Manages equipment usage
• Completes other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required
• Coaching or playing experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of soccer at the collegiate level are required
• Applicant must obtain acceptance in a North Park University graduate program
• Applicant must be able to work an non-traditional work schedule (i.e. frequent nights and weekends)
• Able to lift and move athletic equipment
• Able to travel with team, by vehicle or plane
• A valid driver's license is required
• Possess a clear understanding and personal commitment to North Park's mission of Christian higher education
