Graduate Assistant for Computer and Information Science Department

Position Summary

Graduate Assistant for the Computer and Information Science Department within the Col. of Engineering & Business, School of Engineering and Computing. This is a part-time research/teaching graduate assistantship for a four-month term, approximately 5 hours per week.

Essential Functions

• Research, design, implement, and manage software programs
• Test and evaluate new cryptography programs
• Identify areas for modification in existing RSA programs and subsequently develop these modifications
• Write and implement efficient code
• Determine operational practicality
• Develop quality assurance procedures
• Deploy software tools, processes, and metrics
• Maintain and upgrade existing systems
• Work closely with other developers and the professor

Present the outcomes of your experience at Celebrate Gannon and/or other venues determined by the college.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduate student in Computer and Information Science.
