Graduate Assistant Athletic Communications Director

Responsibilities

• serving as the lead administrator/head coach when the sports information director is unavailable
• game preparation
• assist with athletic department events
• work closely with other department coaches and administrators responsible for rules compliance, media relations, etc., to ensure the highest quality program possible for the student-athletes
• other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree. Excellent organization and communication skills. Previous athletic communications experience plus an understanding of NCAA Division III Rules Compliance is required. Must have a valid driver’s license and be available to drive team vans when needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience within a NCAA Division III intercollegiate program; administrative responsibilities required fiscal management.

Compensation

$5,000 and tuition waiver for 12 graduate credit hours from Aug. 1, 2026, thru May 31, 2027.
