Graduate Assistant at FPU Only - Residence Director

Job Summary

The Graduate Residence Director - Residential Life will work closely with the Residential Life team to support the residential community at Franklin Pierce University. Reporting to the Associate Director of Housing Operations, this position will primarily focus on assisting with the day-to-day operations of residential life, including overseeing residential intentional interactions and student support follow-up for low-level incidents, supporting student engagement and late night/weekend programming, and fostering a positive living environment for all students.

Experience and Qualifications

- At least 1-3 years of student leadership experience, preferably in a residence life or student affairs setting. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and support students from diverse backgrounds. - A passion for student development, residential education, and creating inclusive, supportive campus environments. - Experience with conflict resolution and mediation preferred. - Candidate must be accepted to Franklin Pierce University’s graduate program before application will be considered. - Must be willing to live on campus and participate in an on-call duty rotation. - A sense of humor is a plus.
