About the role

Wintermute is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced trading strategies, managing risk, and optimizing our trading algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new trading strategies based on market analysis and technical indicators
• Manage and optimize trading algorithms to maximize profitability and minimize risk
• Monitor and analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the crypto market and trading technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in algorithmic trading or similar roles
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
• Experience with Python, C++, or other programming languages used in trading
• Knowledge of financial markets and trading principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successful trading strategies and performance metrics
• Experience with backtesting and stress testing trading models
• Understanding of market dynamics and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
