About the role
Wintermute is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced trading strategies, managing risk, and optimizing our trading algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new trading strategies based on market analysis and technical indicators
- Manage and optimize trading algorithms to maximize profitability and minimize risk
- Monitor and analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the crypto market and trading technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in algorithmic trading or similar roles
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Experience with Python, C++, or other programming languages used in trading
- Knowledge of financial markets and trading principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successful trading strategies and performance metrics
- Experience with backtesting and stress testing trading models
- Understanding of market dynamics and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
