Grades Teachers

About the role

The Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork is seeking passionate and dedicated teachers for its Grades programs for 1st to 8th Grade. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, encouraging early inquiries for future school years.

Responsibilities

• Teach a comprehensive Waldorf curriculum for Grades students
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a nurturing learning environment
• Engage with the local community and support the school's mission

Requirements

• Completed or willing to complete Waldorf teacher training
• Passionate about Waldorf education principles
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with the faculty

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Waldorf pedagogy knowledge
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving curriculum

Pay

The base salary for a trained teacher is currently $68,000 with yearly increments based on experience.

Schedule

Hours vary but typically include a full day of teaching and administrative responsibilities.
