Grader Operator

Archer Western Construction is seeking a Grader Operator for the Central Water Group / Kyle FM 1626 Pump Station Improvements project in Kyle, Texas. The role involves operating a grader to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building structures. Equipment operators are also expected to assist with other duties around the jobsite as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a grader to complete tasks such as grading, moving, and transporting materials like dirt, rocks, and other aggregates.
• Understand operating procedures for loading and unloading materials.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oiling, greasing, and servicing equipment; conduct daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Assist with other related duties on the jobsite as needed.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of grader operating experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Compliance with all safety policies and procedures; effective communication with co-workers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
