About the Role

Allan Myers is looking for an ambitious, hard-working laborer to join our team. This position involves heavy physical duties on a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled tasks, with opportunities to specialize within a crew (e.g., "Top Person" or "Pipe Layer" on a pipe crew).

Responsibilities

• Digs, spreads, and shovels dirt and gravel using pick and/or shovel.
• Lifts, carries, and holds building materials, tools, and supplies.
• Cleans tools, materials, and work areas.
• Mixes, pours, and spreads concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials using hand tools.
• Performs manual tasks including pipe assembly, pipe cutting and laying, removal of forms from set concrete, taking layout shots, and directing equipment operators on cuts and fills.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
• GED/High School diploma or related work experience (trade school a plus).
• Valid Driver’s License required.
