Grade K Teacher

About the role

The Lisbon School Department seeks a Grade K Teacher with a successful history of teaching at the Primary level. The ideal candidate will teach all core subjects and content areas, have experience with the workshop model, and possess a strong understanding of ELA, Math, and Science Maine Learning Results, Guided Reading model experience, and REVEAL Math experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach all core subjects and content areas
• Experience with the workshop model
• Collaborate within and among teams and with parents
• Plan and implement Response to Intervention
• Establish and maintain standards of student behavior to achieve a supportive learning environment
• Organize, track, and analyze data to inform instruction

Requirements

• Elementary School Certification 020 or 029
• Valid CHRC

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of ELA, Math, and Science Maine Learning Results
• Guided Reading model experience
• REVEAL Math experience preferred

Skills

• Ability to collaborate within and among teams and with parents
• Ability to establish and maintain standards of student behavior
• Ability to organize, track, and analyze data to inform instruction
