Grade K Teacher
About the role
The Lisbon School Department seeks a Grade K Teacher with a successful history of teaching at the Primary level. The ideal candidate will teach all core subjects and content areas, have experience with the workshop model, and possess a strong understanding of ELA, Math, and Science Maine Learning Results, Guided Reading model experience, and REVEAL Math experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach all core subjects and content areas
- Experience with the workshop model
- Collaborate within and among teams and with parents
- Plan and implement Response to Intervention
- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior to achieve a supportive learning environment
- Organize, track, and analyze data to inform instruction
Requirements
- Elementary School Certification 020 or 029
- Valid CHRC
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of ELA, Math, and Science Maine Learning Results
- Guided Reading model experience
- REVEAL Math experience preferred
Skills
- Ability to collaborate within and among teams and with parents
- Ability to establish and maintain standards of student behavior
- Ability to organize, track, and analyze data to inform instruction
