Grade Foreman

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead site grading crew on various construction and development sites.
• Perform and oversee fine grading for building pads, roadways, and other site areas.
• Experience in laying Storm, Sewer and Water.
• Ensure proper elevations, slopes, and tolerances using GPS, and/or laser equipment.
• Cook up daily work activities and ensure adherence to project plans and schedules.
• Operate grading and earthmoving equipment as needed to support crew operations.
• Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other team members.
• Aid with equipment maintenance and ensure tools and materials are properly used and cared for.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in site development, grading and earthwork construction.
• Prior experience as a foreman in fine/rough grading preferred.
• Strong understanding of grading plans, blueprints, and construction layouts.
• Skilled in GPS grading systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Valid Driver's License with clean motor vehicle record.
