Grade 8 AMP’d Math Support Facilitator

About the Role

Facilitate student progress through an online learning platform by providing appointment-based check-ins, maintaining open communication with students and families, and offering ongoing feedback and encouragement.

Responsibilities

• Manage a Google Classroom for your students.
• Review student thinking and comprehension to provide specific feedback.
• Ensure each student is making progress through the online learning platform.
• Provide appointment hours for student check-ins.
• Maintain open communication with students and families as they progress through their learning.

Requirements

• Experience and confidence in teaching mathematics.
• Experience teaching middle school mathematics.
• Completion of or currently working toward a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university.
• Access to your own device.
• Experience dealing with diverse student populations and familiarity working in an urban setting preferred.

Pay

Contract amount not to exceed $6,000.00. Hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. Non-exempt employees will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours per week.

Schedule

Contract length: November 25, 2025 through May 8, 2026.
