Grade 5 Teacher
AOS 96 Jonesboro Elementary School is seeking a Grade 5 Teacher.
About the role
The successful candidate will teach a range of subjects to students in the 5th grade, including mathematics, science, social studies, and language arts. They will also be responsible for supporting students' social and emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of students
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
- Support students' social and emotional growth through classroom management and guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Valid Maine teaching certificate
- Experience working with elementary school students preferred

Pay

Schedule
