RSU/SAD #37 is accepting applications for the position of Anticipated Gr 4/5/6 Teacher at Harrington Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year.
About the role
- Teach Grades 4, 5, and 6 students
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain classroom discipline and safety
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective lessons
- Evaluate student learning outcomes
- Adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Participate in professional development activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid Maine teaching license
- Experience teaching Grades 4, 5, and 6 preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
