About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students in a Grade 1 classroom, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues to support student growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement curriculum aligned with district standards
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan lessons and activities
• Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• PA Teaching Certification in Elementary Education
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

Qualifications

• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug screening
