Grad Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your didactic learning from pharmacy school in real-world settings, while gaining valuable experience and developing your skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply your pharmacy school knowledge to support the pharmacy team in CVS Health locations.
• Undergo a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation, focusing on store, district, and regional operations.
• Learn and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
• Assist in patient care by filling prescriptions, offering medical advice, and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
• Support the management, oversight, and operations within the pharmacy, including immunizations and other patient health care services.
• Contribute to a high-performing team by remaining flexible, open to feedback, and continuously expanding your knowledge.
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical principles to ensure patient safety and privacy.

Requirements

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel to different stores.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical stamina to lift and move items as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain immunization certification once state regulations are met.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $24.25 - $42.00 per hour. The actual pay may vary based on experience and qualifications.
