Grad Pharmacist

We are looking for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your pharmacy education in a real-world setting, gain valuable experience, and prepare for a career as a Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
• Support pharmacy teams to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction
• Assist with patient safety and error prevention
• Contribute to positive patient experiences and health outcomes
• Support immunizations and other patient health care services
• Comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Attention and focus to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Effective communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical reasoning to solve problems related to prescription filling
• Problem resolution to handle challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical demands to move items between low and high positions, lift up to 20 lbs, and bend/spend extended periods

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to become immunization certified once state regulations are met
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
