We are seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team at CVS Health. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your pharmacy education in real-world settings, gain valuable experience, and prepare for a career as a Pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
- Support pharmacy teams to ensure smooth operations, prompt and accurate prescription fulfillment, and caring service
- Operate as part of the pharmacy team, adhering to SOPs and best practices
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by demonstrating empathy and genuine care
- Take on greater accountability for supporting management, oversight, and operations within the pharmacy
- Support additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing
Requirements
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Attention and focus: Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
- Customer service and team orientation: Actively look for ways to help people, and do so in a friendly manner
- Communication skills: Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues
- Problem resolution: Identify challenging patient or colleague interactions and choose the best course of action when faced with multiple options
Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health

- Mathematical reasoning: Ability to use math to solve a problem, such as determining the total number of tablets to dispense, day's supply, and/or number of full bottles and additional bottles needed to fill a prescription

Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $19.75 - $42.00. Depending on hours worked and eligibility, the benefits for this position include dental, vision, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.
Schedule
This is a part-time position, typically working 20-30 hours per week.
