Grad Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a retail pharmacy setting, applying your didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice. You will have the chance to develop your skills and prepare for a Pharmacist role under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Apply your pharmacy school knowledge to real-world practice
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
• Support the pharmacy team in ensuring smooth operations and patient care
• Assist with patient safety and error prevention
• Contribute to positive patient experiences and maintaining a safe, inclusive culture
• Support immunizations and other patient health care services
• Comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical principles

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks over a period of time
• Active listening to give full attention to others and respond appropriately
• Mathematical reasoning to solve problems related to prescription filling
• Problem resolution to identify and address challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical demands to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods

Qualifications

• Ability to work in various locations to meet business needs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
