About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced retail environment while contributing to our mission of improving access, lowering costs, and being a trusted partner for every meaningful moment of health.

Responsibilities

  • Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice
  • Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
  • Support pharmacy teams in ensuring smooth operations, prompt prescription filling, and accurate dispensing
  • Assist with patient care, including counseling, answering medical questions, and providing vaccinations
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive team culture
  • Comply with federal, state, and local laws, CVS policies, and ethical principles
  • Support immunizations, including vaccine preparation, administration, and adverse reaction monitoring

Requirements

  • PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
  • Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
  • Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
  • Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
  • Attention and focus: ability to concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly
  • Customer service and team orientation: active listening, clear communication, and empathy
  • Physical demands: mobility, reaching, lifting, and bending

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • Ability to become immunization certified
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $23.75 - $42.00 per hour. Please note that the application window for this opening will close on 09/11/2026.

Schedule

This is a part-time position, typically scheduled for 20-30 hours per week.
