Grad Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your didactic learning from pharmacy school and pharmacy practice into real-world practice. Your role will involve assisting the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, filling prescriptions accurately, and providing patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly
• Fulfill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
• Provide empathetic and caring service to patients
• Support pharmacists and technicians in managing and improving patient health
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by offering services like immunizations and point-of-care testing
• Support immunizations, including vaccine preparation and administration, patient education, and adverse reaction monitoring
• Participate in inventory management activities
• Support the team in maintaining a safe and inclusive environment
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical principles

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A PharmD degree from a U.S. accredited program
• The ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $23.75 - $42.00 per hour.

Schedule

This is a part-time position, typically working 20-30 hours per week.
