Grad Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a retail pharmacy setting, applying your pharmacy school knowledge to real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
• Support pharmacy teams in ensuring smooth operations, prompt prescription filling, and patient care
• Assist in maintaining a safe and inclusive environment
• Take on greater accountability as tenure and readiness increase, managing pharmacy operations and supporting management
• Support additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and focus: ability to concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly
• Customer service and team orientation: actively looking for ways to help people and responding appropriately
• Communication skills: using and understanding verbal and written communication
• Mathematical reasoning: ability to use math to solve problems
• Problem resolution: identifying and resolving challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical demands: mobility, remaining upright for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $23.75 - $42.00 per hour.
