Grad Pharmacist

We are looking for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers challenging opportunities to learn and grow professionally, with a focus on transforming health care for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
• Support pharmacy teams to ensure smooth operations, prompt prescription filling, and safe, accurate dispensing
• Assist with patient care, including counseling, answering medical questions, and providing vaccinations
• Contribute to a high-performing team, embrace a growth mindset, and seek opportunities to expand knowledge
• Support immunizations, including vaccine preparation and administration, patient education, and adverse reaction monitoring
• Comply with federal, state, and local laws, CVS policies, and ethical principles

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and across the market
• Attention to detail and strong customer service skills
• Strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Physical stamina to lift and move items, bend, stretch, and reach overhead

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to become immunization certified
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $23.75 - $42.00 per hour.

Schedule

This is a part-time position, typically scheduled for evenings and weekends.
