About the role
We are looking for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers challenging opportunities to learn and grow professionally, with a focus on transforming health care for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
- Support pharmacy teams to ensure smooth operations, prompt prescription filling, and safe, accurate dispensing
- Assist with patient care, including counseling, answering medical questions, and providing vaccinations
- Contribute to a high-performing team, embrace a growth mindset, and seek opportunities to expand knowledge
- Support immunizations, including vaccine preparation and administration, patient education, and adverse reaction monitoring
- Comply with federal, state, and local laws, CVS policies, and ethical principles
Requirements
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and across the market
- Attention to detail and strong customer service skills
- Strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina to lift and move items, bend, stretch, and reach overhead
Qualifications
- 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to become immunization certified
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

The typical pay range for this role is $23.75 - $42.00 per hour.
